Pro Beach Volleyball Athlete, National Champion, Artist and Traveler. Nicolette Martin embodies the humility, intensity, hard work, and dedication to her craft that embodies the KZ mentality. This summer she is competing in her third year on the AVP Professional Beach Volleyball Tour, and will now be sporting her KZ Shades while competing for a Championship. She started her volleyball career nearly 10 years ago, and in 2013 she headed to USC to compete for the Trojans Beach Volleyball Team. While there, she helped her team win an unbelievable 3 National Championships in a row from 2015 to 2017.
When it came time to graduate, she skipped her ceremony to wear the Trojan jersey one last time in her final USC tournament.
It was at USC where she qualified to represent the USA Volleyball Team and had the honor of traveling to China, Mexico, Cuba and the Cayman Islands.
Along with being a Trojan athlete, she studied at the USC Roski School of Art and Design. Currently, she is living her dream of being a freelance artist by combining her two passions - painting people or landscapes with a Volleyball as her canvas. Volleyball fans from all around the US commission her works at tournaments or through her Art Volleyball website.
When Nicolette isn't painting, training or competing, she enjoys spending time with her family along the Colorado River. Follow her (and her favorite pair of KZ Caribbean Shades) over the next few months as she competes on the AVP Tour, which can be seen live exclusively on Amazon Prime.
